In order to fight halitosis, you need to remove all possible causes:

  1. Periodontal disease-  Bad bacteria in your mouth (under the gums and on your teeth) will cause bad breath.  Removal of bad bacteria through a customized oral hygiene program will help
  2. Tongue- The tongue tends to collect a lot o food and bacteria on its surface. Brushing your tongue plays a huge role and is an important step in fighting halitosis.
  3. Non-dental- Improper hygiene, and neglection of regular cleanings are both causes of halitosis.. Certain medical conditions (GI and others) may cause bad breath as well. We will refer you to a proper specialist if we see fit.
