Proper brushing technique include thoroughly cleaning your teeth and gums. At our office, we recommend a soft toothbrush, or an electric toothbrush.
Apply your favorite fluoride toothpaste, and brush at a 45-degree angle to your teeth against the gumline. You should br brushing in gentle circles, and not in “scrubbing” motion.
Make sure you brush all surfaces of your teeth first, including both the top of each tooth and the tongue side of each tooth.
Brushing your tongue helps to remove bad breath bacteria and helps keep your breath fresh.
